Be Wildered is a free, new event offered by the Forbes River Arts team.
Rob Shannon describes the artists gathering here as "phenomenal".
The night will begin with an Indigenous welcome and performance by the River Spirit Dancers, and feature Higoanon tribal family from the Philippines headed by singer songwriter Datu (Chief).
The Beez from Berlin are coming to town, they describe themselves as "your favourite record store. You know, the one that went out of business a few years back? Now re-opened in a slightly funkier part of town?"
And taking the night out is Lolo Lovina, Balkan Romani fusion band.
"Eastern Europe, but with a really modern and dance vibe," Shannon said.
Vocalist Sarah Bedack is also bringing Lolo the gypsy caravan stage - all the way from Sydney.
Lolo is a 16 foot, 1978 Viscount Ambassador, aluminium, deep red spotted, vintage, bespoke, antique white caravan that converts to a stage in less than 30 minutes.
It's going to be an incredibly special night, Shannon says.
The idea, he adds, is that Wheogo Park is like a beautiful little piece of wilderness right here in town.
It's a "down" year for the biennial River Arts Festival and the organisers had thought they would run an event to raise funds towards the 2021 festival.
In the wake of the devastation wrought by drought and fire in recent months, they've decided instead to pull this event together as something free for the community.
They're issuing an invitation to pop your burdens somewhere safe, reschedule your worries and dance the night away.
Food stalls and bar available all night or you're welcome to bring a picnic. The event is family friendly.
Entry is free however there will be donation buckets collecting for drought relief, with Shannon currently working on the best way to direct that.
