The Forbes Netball committee is calling for all players wanting to trial for FNA representative teams.
Players aged 12 years, 13 years, and 14 years in 2020 to play in the NNSW Junior State Titles, and players aged 15 years and 17 under in 2020 to play in the NNSW Senior State Titles.
The representative information day will be held this afternoon, Tuesday, with the Committee available from 6pm till 7pm at the netball courts.
Any players or parents of players wanting to find out information, and or complete representative nomination forms should come along.

The Senior State Titles are held over the June long weekend, and the Junior State Titles are held over the first weekend in the July school holidays.
An 11 years team will also be formed in March.
These teams will also play in regional carnivals during the season.
Autumn night competition
The Autumn Night competition for both mixed and ladies teams will play the grading game this week.
Any teams wanting to play in the competition and not yet entered should email the team entry to Secretary Monica email secretary.forbesnetball@gmail.com, or bring it down to the office on Wednesday night.
Teams must be entered by this weekend, to be able to play in the competition.
Round one of the night competitions will be played next week.
Ladies may play in both the mixed and ladies competition on the same night.
Anyone wanting to umpire should put their name down at the office or contact Umpires Convenor Marg Spackman.
Teams will be occasionally allocated one umpire duty and also rostered to do office duty during the competition.
This will be the only grading game for the competition.
The competition will finish in early June, when Finals will be played between the two top teams on the point score ladder in each competition.
There will be no competition played during the school holidays.
Anyone needing help with registrations should come to the office on Wednesday night.

Adjourned AGM
The adjourned AGM of the Forbes Netball Association will be held on Thursday, March 19 at 7 pm at the Forbes Services Memorial Club.
The planned February AGM could not be held due to a lack of a quorum.
A General Meeting was then held.
Monica Morrison was elected to the vacant position of Secretary of FNA.
Selection and Umpire Committee were also elected.
Plans and dates for the 2020 netball year were discussed, and more netball news will be released soon.

Golf croquet February 18
What a great day for our Forbes Seniors Week.
Thirty four players turned up for our Golf Croquet.
It was grand to welcome two new players, Kevin and Judy Girot.
I played as Judy's partner in one game and I was very impressed with her first effort. We were only beaten 7-6 by two seasoned players Tony Thomson and Veva MacCullagh.
Judy managed to hit the ball through four hoops, a big effort for her first game.
The council put on a morning tea after croquet had finished which was very much appreciated.
Visitors on the day were Doreen Whitworth, Helen Spry and Peter Mahlo.

Aussie croquet February 22
It was a mild morning with twenty six participants for our Saturday Aussie Croquet. We welcomed one visitor today. Robyn Liebich enjoyed her day especially partnering her mum Colleen Liebich.
The only winners of three games today were Veva MacCullagh and Tony Thomson.

Wednesday Evening Feburary 19: Court One; Coombsy moved well beating Neil Toole 3-1, Alex Bayley lost to Ken Cormie 0-3, Lindy Cowhan beat Josh Barnard 3-0, Brad Hardy lost to Jan Berger 1-3, Gabe M-McMillan beat Kim Chudleigh 3-1, Louise Herford lost to Isaac Barnard 0-3 and Tyson McKinnon lost to Will Markwort 1-3. Team points were 22 to 27.
Court Two; Sub B Barnard lost to Cam Toole 0-3 and 'Week's Match' at a set down Chris Cogswell nudged ahead of Jacob Cannon 15-13, 16-14 but then she lost 13-15, 12-15. Angus Webb beat 'absolute beginner' Abdi Adan 3-0, Alec Walters won a marathon match against Thom Burton 3-2, sub Louise Herford lost to Jono Webb 1-3 and Jack Beaudin beat Tahlia O'Malley 3-0.
Team points were 21 to 27. Court Three; Bren Allegri lost to Wayne Bilsborough 1-3 and despite a fourth set loss 13-15, Ellie Cowhan performed well against Louise Webb, Ben Barnard beat sub G Falvey 3-0, Lucy Cowhan beat George Falvey 3-0, Kasey Kinsey lost to Marc Hardy 0-3, Tom Cormie beat Isaac Berger 3-0 and Trist McKinnon beat Claire Bayley 3-0; Team Points were 29 to 20.
Thursday Night: Court One; Sam Hornery beat Clint Ridley 3-0, Smartie's court speed caught Kingy on the back foot initially 15-12 but sets four and five 11-15, 6-15 went to Rich.
Chris McQuie beat Scott Webb 3-0, Jake Hemming lost to Hayden Williams 0-3, Cam Toole beat Pom Bentick 3-1 and Rowan Madge couldn't quite dig Deb Bryant's drops out of the front corners or her lobs out of the back ones and he had trouble with her boasts to, losing 0-3.
Team Points were 22 to 20. Court Two; Lockie's skill was just enough to snatch away Ollie's victory hopes 3-1. Dan Bayley beat Bren Allegri 3-1, Rich Plowes lost to Henry Kross 1-3, Judy Kross lost to Chuds 1-3 and Elle Caton lost to Will Gordon 0-3. Team Points were 16 to 26.
Court Three; Darryn Piper beat Jay Kross 3-1, Mark Webb lost to Den Haynes 0-3, Jake Shaw beat Pete Cowhan 3-1, Max Ridley and Bec Connell had the night's only five set match and at two sets behind Max dug in to even the score only to lose the decider 13-15 to a determined Bec. Ken Bryant and Russ Brown lost to Al Carlisle 0-3. Team Points were 21 to 27.

The indoor bowlers would like to thank Joline and Forbes council for the lovely afternoon tea we received for seniors week it was very nice.
We had a good roll up of players winners for the day Vera Wilma and Pat two wins 18 points. You say to Vera to come this way she says I cannot do that then she plays her bowl and takes the jack back and ends up with five shots well done Vera.
Runners up Loraine Denny and Joan one win one lose. Encouragement award went to Gloria Sandy. and Betty Rees.
Computation was won by Loraine, Liz and Betty Mc. If you would like to come along and have some fun on Wednesday afternoon come to the Forbes community centre name in by 1.15pm for 1.30pm start we have every thing for you just come and have a look and have some fun.

Veteran's Golf
Despite a miss and a one pointer during his 12 holes of competition stableford play in the weekly Forbes/Parkes veterans golf competition last Thursday prominent Parkes member Robert Lea assessed 28 points to be first 'past the post'.
Played in Forbes it was the against the usual trend of local knowledge with next best Parkes' Nym Dziuba on 26 points.
After that best on 24 points with balls in the sweep going to Brian Clarke (F), John Smith (F), Peter Grayson (F), Ted Morgan (F), Ralph Baker (F), Ken Sly (F) while those on 23 points also collected a ball, Peter Barnes (F), Barry Parker (F), Barry Shine (F), Garry Pymont (F), Sunna Bell (P), John Pearce (P), Roy Bell (P).
As noted above Forbes with six players on 24 points, including that of Ken Sly in his first mid-week competition game, won the Mick Miller shield adding their best six scores for 144 points to that of Parkes' total of 143.
Nearest the pins, ninth A grade Sunna Bell (P), B grade Tom Delmenico (P), 18th A grade Garry Collits (F), B grade Garry Pymont (F). Encouragement award to Tom Edols who has made a welcome return to competition golf.
Golf on Thursday will be the Lachlan Valley Veterans monthly 18 hole competition here in Forbes. Nominations from 9.30am for a 10am shot gun start.
Prior to this a 'short' Lachlan Valley AGM will be held. After play lunch will be served in the 'Golfie' hotel.
Social 12 holes of golf on Tuesday is proving popular as was shown last week when 26 greeted organiser Geoff Drane at 9.30am for the traditional ball toss to determine playing partners.
With perfect outdoor weather on the horizon it is expected this number will grow in coming weeks.
Winner last week due to a revised mid-week handicap was Clayton Alley with 32 points but only just after surviving a count-back from the ever consistent John Smith.
Everyone is welcome to play Tuesday, as stated above, shot gun start at 9.30am. Come and enjoy a walk before lunch.
