Funds from the NSW Government's Community Grants program will provide taxis for families for whom transport is an issue, and also help the pop up preschool get out and about more.
Preschool director Amy Shine says their goal continues to be to ensure everyone has access to affordable early education the year before school.
The funds will help them cast the net wider and remove barriers that might keep some children away.
"Early education is so important for life-long learning," Ms Shine said.
The pop-up preschool program is up and running for the year, heading to Jenny Murphy Park and to the Garema Get Up and Go Gathering.
The preschool is partnering with CatholicCare to do this - and Ms Shine also expressed thanks to Mayor Phyllis Miller and Forbes Shire for ensuring the park is a great place for the kids to play.
"We're building relationships with families outside our gates, and families are really responding," she said.
