Under the new restrictions cafes and restaurants will be able to operate, but only to offer takeaway and delivery services.
The Advocate spoke to several local cafes around Forbes on Tuesday to see what their response to the latest restrictions imposed are.
The general consensus among local cafe managers was to encourage people to support local cafes and businesses around town through this period.
Isabel's Place manager Isabel said they have temporarily changed their trading hours so they are open from 8am to 2pm from Monday to Friday.
Isabel said people can still come in and order food or coffee for takeaway and they have implemented social distancing measures.
Along with this, Isabel said their full menu is available for takeaway or delivery - which is free within town limits.

The Wattle Cafe is still operating under their normal trading hours and encourages people to come in and order takeaway items.
The Bakehouse is also operating under their normal trading hours - 6am to 5pm, Monday to Friday and 6am to 12pm on Sunday.
The Bakehouse's Giselle said they are complying with the new regulations, and can only offer takeaway food and coffee, though their full menu is still available.

John Bennett from The Brew said they are open every day from 7:30am for as long as they can
The Brew will be offering a reduced takeaway menu, which still includes most of the favourites.
John said you can call them on 0475376494 or stop in the cafe to order.
The Brew is encouraging people to pay by card when they can however. You can keep up to date with The Brew on their Facebook page which will be regularly updated.
