Meals on Wheels, in Forbes and across Australia, delivers meals to the elderly and those who might not be able to do the shopping or cooking for themselves.
Meals on Wheels is run by volunteers and is aimed at keeping people independent in their own homes and to get them back on their feet.
Sheryl Garner, from Meals on Wheels, said many of their volunteers are retirees and fall into the vulnerable category for COVID-19.
Ms Garner said that none of her volunteers have decided to reduce their hours yet, but that would be their choice.
If you are in good health and want to volunteer for Forbes Meals on Wheels, message their Facebook site at or contact Sheryl Garner on 6851 4204 or 0403 335 732.
Along with operating with increased sanitation procedures, Ms Garner said they have implemented some grab and go packs for those who are in isolation.
Along with this, Meals On Wheels are offering a variety of meal plans for those clients who need it.
These meal plans include a seven day pack, a five day pack and a three day pack. All contain dry goods as well as a main meal, a soup and a desert.
