There were 12 teams that took to the courts over the summer, and the end-of-season finals were divided into groups of four.
Teams are of four players, mixed men and women, who play doubles and this summer saw an increase in the number of teams signing up.
The winner of Division 1, on a count back of games, was Rodney Stewart's team named "Making up the numbers".
Peter Clifton's team "CT's" were the runners-up in that division and it was close, with just five games in it.
Division 2 was won by Robin Lyell's team "Cheers".
Division 3 had a close fought final which also had to be decided on a count back.
The winners were Erica Langley's team "Net Nuts".
The evening of tennis was followed by a presentation and drinks.
Unfortunately now, due to COVID-19 measures, the club championships that were to be held at this time have been cancelled or postponed.
Club games and court hire have also had to be put on hold.
Local tennis coach Peter Clifton looks forward to seeing everyone back on court in the future.
