All caravan parks and camping grounds are closed including the overnight parking by Lake Forbes.
In line with the updated directions, Forbes Shire Council has advised that all caravan parks and camping grounds are closed except for the purpose of accommodating permanent residents or those who have no other place of permanent residence.

Those affected include (but are not limited to):
- Apex Riverside Tourist Park;
- Big 4 Holiday Park;
- Forbes Caravan and Cabin Park;
- River Meadows Caravan Park; and
- The short term rest area in Junction Street on Lake Forbes.
The council's Town Hall office is also now closed to the public.
