Along with help from Janet Callaghan, Cenwestours managed to put together a drop off and pick up service for our health careworkers.
Mr Sinclair said he was prompted to do something to support our local health workers as he has family working in the industry and knows how hard they work.
"Some of these people are on nine day shifts before getting time to shop and prepare meals for families."
Mr Sinclair said if some health professionals are struggling to find time to visit the grocery store in between shifts to give Bernardi's a call to organise groceries which he can pickup and deliver.
Along with operating this, Cenwestours have partnered with Lakeside Takeaway to run a tab for hospital staff to get coffee.
Mr Sinclair said if people want to help out, they can ring up Lakeside Takeaway and contribute to the tab.
They will continue to run the tab for as long as they can but they need community help to top it up.
"We want to keep our healthcare workers spirits up," he said. "They need to know that the community are behind them."
Mr Sinclair said he would like to thank Trae Loomes Lakeside Takeaway, Jenny and Mark Watts and Kellie Mattiske as well as all who have all donated morning teas, or a credit at Lakeside for coffee so far.
Mr Sinclair said in a post to Facebook they are also working with Meals on Wheels. Just contact Sheryl on 68514204 mowforb@bigpond.net.au to get a menu, start your package and they will deliver to the hospital.
