Hope at Home will allow the community to continue to celebrate cancer survivors, support those who have been impacted by cancer and remember loved ones lost to cancer with a Candle Kit.
The kit, which can be purchased online for $25, contains a hope bag and candle to display at home on April 29.
Bree Kelly at Cancer Council NSW said cancer patients across NSW need help now more than ever, and the Cancer Council continues to support them.
"They need help to get to their treatment or stay near," she said.
"They need emotional support from trained counsellors, clear information about their diagnosis, and access to emergency financial payments.
"We are excited to launch Hope at Home to bring our community together in these uncertain times while raising vital funds.
"Those wishing to get involved can purchase a Candle Kit online or make a donation.
"This is our chance to come together as a community and honour those impacted by cancer on April 29 - it's going to be a beautiful way to show one-another we are here."
Support the Hope at Home initiative by purchasing your Candle Kit or donate online at give.cancercouncil.com.au/hopeathome.
Share photos of your hope bag and lit candle on April 29 using the hashtags #HopeAtHome and #StayHomeForCancer.
All funds raised from Hope at Home will be put towards lifesaving work in cancer research, community prevention programs and information and support services.
