Five hundred and six cattle were yarded.
There were some handy lines of grain fed cattle offered along with the plainer unfinished types.
Not all the usual buyers were present and competing in a firm to easier market. Light weight steers to restockers sold from 417c to 492c/kg.
Finished steers to processors held firm to slightly easier to sell from 330c to 423c/kg.
Those to feed ranged from 381c to 420c for middle weights and from 365c to 422c/kg for heavy weights.
Light heifers to restockers sold from 390c to 450c/kg.
Yearling heifers to processors received from 340c to 408c/kg.
Feeders paid from 330c to 404c/kg for the unfinished types. Heavy steers and bullocks sold from 300c to 340c/kg. Grown heifers received from 272c to 320c/kg.
The absence of a buyer saw cows ease 10c to 15c/kg.
Heavy 2 score sold from 270c to 284c and 3 scores made from 282c to 292c/kg.
The best heavy bull reached 316c/kg.
