Investigations are still ongoing into the shooting deaths of both Frank Smith and Bandidos chapter president Shane De Britt, who were both killed earlier this year.

Mr De Britt was killed on his property in Eurimbla on Catombal Road, around 50km south of Wellington.

The shooting, described as resembling an 'execution' by Detective Superintendent Danny Doherty, occurred around Tuesday, January 14 earlier this year.

Mr De Britt was president of the Central West chapter of the Bandidos motorcycle gang and all possible avenues of investigation are being considered by investigators under Strike Force Kerrison.

"We're appealing for anyone who may have dashcam footage, on the night in question, from midnight to 4am on January 14 on the Mitchell Highway between Orange and Wellington, or Burrendong way," Det. Sup. Doherty said.

Det. Sup. Doherty also confirmed that the sizable police presence in the Central West since January would remain and that a number of arrests and raids of Bandidos members and property had been conducted in that time.

The second incident that police are continuing to investigate and urging people to come forward with information about is the shooting of Wellington's Frank Smith.

"Initial inquiries into Mr Smith's death have revealed that a member of the public saw him collapse in the front yard of a home on Thornton Street, Wellington, about 10am on Monday 27 April," Det Supt Doherty said.

"It's an abhorrent crime that's happened... this was a shooting in the middle of the day on residential street."

This witness drove Mr Smith to the hospital, where he was unable to be revived.

Mr Smith, described as 'a loving father and grandfather' by police had strong connections to to the community and the Wellington area.

Police are calling on anyone with dash cam footage of Thornton street between 8am and 11am to come forward.
