While training may have recently started, it's not too late to sign up to take part, with registrations still open.
Forbes and District Soccer Club's Doug Mckenzie said there are several ways you can sign up to play soccer this year.
Players can register online at www.playfootball.com.au or in person with the Soccer Club hosting a registration session on Saturday July 4 near the Sweet Three Vintage Van.
Mr Mckenzie said that people can also message through to the Forbes and District Soccer Club's Facebook page to help them register.
With some restrictions in place, Mr Mckenzie said they will utilise all nine fields down at the Botanical Gardens to help facilitate social distancing.
Mr Mckenzie said some of the junior games will be played on a modified duration.
Along with using increased space, the Forbes and District Soccer Club has posted signage to remind people of the current guidelines.
The junior soccer season is set to run for 15 rounds and will kick off on July 18.
Mr Mckenzie said the women's competition is slated to kick off from July 4, while the men's competition is still to be determined.
