The monthly fresh produce markets were on in Victoria Park on Saturday, and the committee's Pippa McConnell said it was a great morning for all involved.
"Lots of people came and I think everyone was really happy to be out and about," Pippa said.
The stallholders, providing everything from fresh fruit and vegetables to meats, jams, apple cider, coffee and breakfasts, were kept busy.
The markets have had a short hibernation due to COVID-19 restrictions, and returned with an adjustment to their location, a little bit more room between stalls and supplies of hand sanitiser.
"One of the nice things about our market is that it's outdoors," Pippa said.
With open space and fresh air, organisers asked people to allow the recommended distancing and everyone respected that.
"We had happy vendors and happy market-goers," Pippa said.
The Forbes Farmers Markets are on the fourth Saturday of each month, with the next event scheduled for July 25. See you there!
