Forbes Basketball Association is calling on teams to sign up now to be part of a season starting July 20.
The association's Sjante Dippenaar says there will be men's, women's and junior competitions for winter and summer.
Women and juniors take the Forbes High School indoor courts on Monday evenings and men on Thursday evenings.
Nominations for the winter competition need to be in by July 15 so a draw can be completed.

Registration is $55 per player and the competition will run over 15 weeks.
Teams are asked to register with at least five members and preferably some substitutes to avoid cancellations during the season.
Individuals who don't have a team can also contact the association through Facebook and register their interest in being placed in a team.
