Organiser and local bowler Leisa Burton says 34 teams have signed up for the two days of competition at the local club.
It's all on Saturday and Sunday, with three games - of 15 ends each - getting under way early on Saturday and a further two games on Sunday.
Locals entered for the challenge include Jeff and Deanna Williams and Lindy Cannon teaming up with Bert Bayley.
Forbes' Leisa Burton, Melissa Wilson and Sue White will also pair up with visiting players to compete in the mixed tournament.
Players from West Wyalong, Yass, Gulgong, Young, Cowra, Manildra and Molong are gathering in Forbes for the event.
Burton says the competition will be run within COVID-safe guidelines, with plenty of space out on the greens and hand sanitiser available.
Bowlers are thrilled to be returning to competition bowls for the annual tournament following the easing of restrictions to contain the pandemic.
Spectators are welcome down at the Forbes Sports and Recreation Club.
In addition to a big weekend of good bowls on the greens, there will be a firewood auction at 12.30pm Saturday, and live entertainment with artist Adam Enslow from 5pm after conclusion of the day's bowls play.
Presentations to the winners are scheduled for early Sunday afternoon at the conclusion of the final two rounds of games.
