Foodbank NSW & ACT will be delivering 14 pallets worth of hampers containing fresh produce and pantry items to people in Forbes, Canowindra and Dubbo.
Foodbank's Cassie Bush said that even though the drought appears to be on the mend there are still people doing it tough, particularly with the added strains of bushfires and Covid-19.
Foodbank NSW & ACT partnered with Forbes CWA, the Forbes branch of the Salvation Army and Havannah House to deliver the hampers.
They will be delivering the hampers at Forbes Showgrounds from 10am to 12pm and families in need can take one bag of fresh produce, with hamper numbers limited.
