It may have had its verandah blown off during last month's storm, but the Railway Hotel in Spring Hill is looking to have its roof blown off by Phrase Noise Offensive later this year.

And so will the Tullamore Hotel in the Parkes Shire.

The band, which will begin its Bringing it to the Bush tour this month, is hoping to help businesses in smaller rural centres after triple catastrophes of drought, bushfires and coronavirus.

The Phrase Noise Offensive, also known as The PNO, are about to kick off their Bringing it to the Bush Tour, designed to bring a much needed stimulus, playing three free gigs in the region - at the Tullamore Hotel in September, the Crossroads Hotel in Tomingley in October and at the Railway Hotel in November.

The band held a vote to decide which small town pub would hold the third gig, with Spring Hill taking the title.

Drummer Rocket Davis said he'd love to see as many people as possible travelling for gigs.
