The Parkes Wanderers were able to secure a place in the grand final with a full time score of 4-2.
Forbes Allstars captain David Hodge said Parkes had started off strong, but the Allstars were able to score two quick goals, bringing the score up to 3-2.
Mr Hodge said after bringing the score closer, the Wanderers snatched the win with another goal sealing the final score of 4-2.
This year's Forbes Allstars team was formed by players who played in the Allstars and the Forbes Bushrangers in the 2019 season.
This merging of players from the two teams was due in part to covid-related conditions affecting the 2020 season.
The 2020 season had six teams contesting in 10 normal rounds and two rounds of finals.
Due to the shortened season, there was only one round of sudden death elimination semi-finals followed by the grand final.
Mr Hodge said they had started training for the season before covid-related regulations force a two month break before a shortened season was announced.
"The players did pretty well this year considering the conditions. All put in the hard effort," Mr Hodge said.
The season was described as having its ups and downs for the Allstars with a mixture of results according to Mr Hodge.
However, the team finished up the main season with two big wins, securing third place and a spot in the semi-final.
Mr Hodge said they had something to work towards because due to the shorter season they had to fight to get into the top four.
To secure their place in the semi-final the Allstars had to win their last game of the general season and have some other results go their way as there was only one point between them and the fifth-placed Grenfell Stingers.
Mr Hodge said that while the team was a bit scrappy at the start of the season, they started pulling together about halfway through.
The Allstars conceded five games and had three draws as well as three wins throughout the main season and the semi-final match.
Mr Hodge said he looks forward to coming back next year to aim for the grand final.
The 2020 LASA grand final was played between Parkes Wanderers and the Rawson Homes Raptors on Sunday, September 27.
The Forbes Allstars team: Jack Janetzki, Jamon McCarthy, David Hodge, Jo Priest, Damian Apps, Cameron Menzies, Matt Mann, Jacob Collits, Brody Hodges, Patrick Hill, Jacob Molloy, Henry Carroll, Andrew Leslie and Alex Earney.
