Joan Whitworth, née Le Brocque, was born to Leo and Flo Le Brocque on September 20, 1920, in Forbes, the seventh child of nine.
She married Charl Whitworth on November 2, 1942 at St Laurence's Catholic Church in Forbes and now resides at the Jemalong Residential Village.
Joan and Charles had four daughters, the late Lesley Craft, Kerry Burleigh, Kim Smith and Peta Constable.
Joan now has ten grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren, and all her descendants were able to gather for her 100th birthday celebration - an incredibly special milestone.
Daughter Kim shares that eating well and genetics are her mum's secret to a long life - she's always been a passionate gardener and was a keen tennis player in earlier years.
The family enjoyed some precious moments together on the occasion, as these photographs captured on the day show. Our very best birthday wishes!
