For a number of years the Forbes Business Chamber Inc in conjunction with Forbes Shire Council have hosted the Find It In AMAZING Forbes Christmas Carnival - and in the past couple of years it has grown into one of Forbes' premier community events.
After a recent committee meeting, it was decided that the Forbes Christmas Carnival would not go ahead in its usual format for 2020.
The committee is currently working on a new concept that will see a series of smaller events delivered to the community.
These events will be located throughout Forbes and will encourage every participant to enjoy themselves in a COVID safe way.
"The Chamber will be working with businesses to provide activities that will celebrate Christmas and encourage people to shop in Forbes," Chamber President Marg Duggan said.
The Forbes Business Chamber Inc will be keep businesses and the Forbes community informed as progress is made.
The Find It In AMAZING Forbes Promotion will be going ahead with lucky draws beginning on Thursday November 5 and then every Thursday until Christmas Eve when the major draws will take place.
The committee would like to thank stall holders, volunteers, shop and business owners and visitors for their support.
The Forbes Business Chamber Inc will bring the Forbes Christmas Carnival back to the community in 2021.
