Rhyme Time begins this Friday, October 23 at Forbes North Public School and will run weekly throughout the school term. Due to Covid-19 regulations, organisors have increased the number of sessions planned and reduced the number of spots at each session.
Forbes Birth to Kinder's Maree Yapp said they will have sessions that will start at 9:30am and at 10:30am and depending on numbers will have a third session starting at 11:30am.
The Rhyme Time sessions are delivered by Candice Iyer and include singing nursery rhymes and songs along with having fun with percussion instruments.
The sessions are aimed at families with kids who are not yet at school aged between 0 and 5.
Due to Covid-19 policies many of the sessions will run in an outdoor setting, but will include an indoor wet weather option.
Bookings are essential for the Rhyme Time sessions and families will have to sign in and out when they attend.
You can book in with Maree at Forbes North SaCC by calling 0427 963 048.
The beginning of the Rhyme Time sessions coincide with the 2020 Book Week which was initially set for August.
