Nasir has taken over from Rob Muffet who retired from the role at the end of September.
Nasir can be found working alongside John Beer, our other Financial Counsellor, at 157 Lachlan Street, Forbes.
Nasir first joined RFCSCR as a Business Analyst at the end of 2019.
He has a Bachelor Degree in Accounting and has been working in business management and administration over the past six years.
Nasir's real passion though is working with rural businesses, farmers, disadvantaged communities and venerable youths which is reflected in the work he did within his role as Youth Activities Officer in remote parts of Western NSW.
As expected, Nasir has hit the ground running in the role with assisting eligible clients to better understand their financial position by providing a range of services.
"It's been great working with local rural communities, I'm thoroughly enjoying the job as it's making a difference to people's lives," Nasir said.
The RFCS Central Region services approximately 54% of NSW, with offices located throughout.
They provide a free and confidential service to primary producers and small business owners.
The team of counsellors and business analysts provide a wide range of support such as budgeting, applying for loans/grants, building cash flows, refinancing of debt and succession planning.
The team at RFCS Central Region, Forbes office, are just a phone call away.
