October 21, Forbes S.S.A.A. sporting shooters held a .22 calibre rimfire rifle shoot. The weather was warm with a wind from the north-west at 12km/h and a temperature of 26 degrees.

There were 7 members in attendance at this shoot, The shooters attendance were; Jennie Carpenter, Lyall Strudwick, John Dean, Paul Baker, Max Vincent, Bruce Runchel and Anthony Bratton. The range officer was Bruce Runchel.
Scorers: John Dean and Jennie Carpenter.
This shoot was a 25 metre .22 target shoot with a maximum score of 250 points, a 50 metre Rabbit target shoot with a maximum score of 100 points, a 75 metre Mosquito target shoot with a maximum score of 120 points,and a 100 metre Feral Cat target shoot with a maximum score of 120 points,.
The results of 25 metre .22 target shoot were; John Dean, 248/250; Paul Baker, 247/250; Bruce Runchel, 247/250; Lyall Strudwick, 245/250; Max Vincent, 240/250; Jennie Carpenter, 239/250 and Anthony Bratton, 213/250.
The results of the 50 metre Rabbit target were; John Dean, 100/100; Bruce Runchel, 99/100; Lyall Strudwick, 96/100; Paul Baker, 96/100; Jennie Carpenter, 93/100; Max Vincent, 88/100 and Anthony Bratton, 73/100.
The results of the 75 metre Mosquito target shoot were; Bruce Runchel, 118/120; John Dean, 112/120; Paul Baker, 104/120; Lyall Strudwick, 103/120; Jennie Carpenter, 100/120; Max Vincent, 74/120 and Anthony Bratton, 58/120.
The results of the 100 metre Feral Cat target shoot were; Lyall Strudwick, 101/120; John Dean, 101/120; Paul Baker, 100/120; Bruce Runchel, 97/120; and Anthony Bratton, 95/120.
The next S.S.A.A. sporting shooters .22 calibre and other rimfire rifles (.22 magnum or.17HMR) shoot will be held this Sunday November 1 starting at 10am.
Followed by a Centre-fire shoot starting at 2pm.
The next Wednesday will be held on Wednesday the 4th November 2020, starting at 2pm.
At the Bedgerebong road range, turn right off the Bedgerebong road onto Dr. Young Drive.
All target shooters are welcome to attend these shoots. Any person wishing to try rifle or shotgun shooting can attend any of these shoots and take part after filling out a P650 form at the club, Junior shooters must be 12 years or over.

The next shoot for the Forbes S.S.A.A. sporting clays will be their monthly shoot on Sunday 8th November 2020 starting at 10am, this will be a 100 target five stand shoot for the Graham West Memorial Trophy, At the Bedgerebong road range.
