School and preschool children took the stage to share Christmas songs, Eugowra's own "voice" Cath Adams (Welsh) performed a couple of favourites and the Forbes Town and District Band entertained as the sun set on the picturesque Apex Park.
Santa Claus - spared mandatory quarantine - was even able to drop in and wish all the children a very merry Christmas, much to their delight.
Jeanine Gibby, one of the organisers from Eugowra Tourism and Events, said the event was able to proceed despite earlier uncertainty.
They prepared and ran within a COVID-safe plan, which included getting everyone to sign in and allowing plenty of space between groups in the park.
Forbes Town and District Band conductor James Whalan, who led the carols while conducting the band in a personal first, said it was wonderful to be able to perform in Eugowra.
In the absence of Forbes carols and Christmas carnival due to COVID-19 restrictions, the band has had a comparatively quiet festive season.
They tuned up to treat visitors to last Saturday's Rotary Ipomoea markets to some carols, and they'll be sharing Christmas joy at Bogan Gate carols this weekend.
