Max William Day left his home in Peak Hill on Saturday, January 7, 2017 and was last seen on January 25, 2017 at a caravan park in Gooloogong.

Despite extensive searches and inquiries, there has been no sign of Mr Day, with a number of other suspected sightings now considered "unconfirmed" by police.

Mr Day's daughter Caley said she hopes to get some information as to her father's whereabouts.

"Not having answers is hard," she said.

"It's a constant cycle of grief and hope and just wondering if he's ok, trying to think of new ways to get his face out to the public, where he'd go."

Mr Day was declared "deceased" following a coronial inquest in his "disappearance and suspected death" held in July 2020.

Deputy State Coroner, Magistrate Derek Lee, concluded Mr Day "died on a date unknown sometime after 25 January 2017".

"However, the available evidence and the absence of any postmortem examination does not allow for any finding to be made as to the place of Max's death, or as to the cause and manner of his death," Magistrate Lee said.

Despite the findings, Ms Day said she will continue to seek answers.

"We don't know anything and so I just feel that, as well intentioned as it was, I personally cannot move forward. I need Dad found," she said.

Ms Day pleaded with her father to reach out and for anyone with information to contact police.

"Dad to please reach out and tell someone he is OK. We are just worried about him," she said.

"And for anyone who knows anything to come forward! Even the smallest details are so important."
