The sport is played at Forbes High School courts every Wednesday commencing at 6.30PM.
The season will close on 23 June 2021 for a short break before the next season is played from August through to December.
The previous season was completed in December 2020.
Singles games were played in Grades A, B and C. Doubles were played in Grade A, Mixed Grade and C.
The Club Champion was awarded to Sanu (Sunny) Maliyil in Singles Grade A who defeated Phil Nicholson in the finals 21/17, 21/15, 21/23 (2:1).
The singles B grade title went to Hiral Patel who defeated Suzanne Woods 21/11, 21/19, 21/19 (3-0).
The singles C grade title was won by Yagnik (Nik) Padalia playing Kathryn Sweeney scoring 21/13,21/7, 21/13 (3-0).
The Doubles games were keenly contested, and the Grade A trophy was won by Jay Bhakta and Suzanne Woods who defeated Sunny Maliyil and Hiral Patel in the finals.
Scores were 21/11, 21/13, 21/13 (3-0).
As there were not enough doubles players in Grade B, the next grade was played as a Mixed Grade and the winners were Sunny Maliyil and Jay Bajwa who defeated Jay Bhakta and Nasir Khan in the finals.
Scores were 21/14, 17/21, 21:17 (2-1).
In Doubles Grade C Daizee Patel and Nasir Khan defeated Kathyrn Sweeney and Gayle Williams 21/7, 21/17, 21:5 (3-0).
There was limited interest in the Children section of Badminton, but we need just a few more members in that category to start competitions.

We look forward to new members in the upcoming season commencing February 10.
The first four weeks will be for new members to try out the game.
This also allows new players to be graded. No fees are charged for these first four Wednesdays.
Racquets are available for those who wish to have a try.
Shuttles are provided throughout the season.
