A new season for Badminton will commence on Wednesday, February 10, 2021.

The sport is played at Forbes High School courts every Wednesday commencing at 6.30PM.

The season will close on 23 June 2021 for a short break before the next season is played from August through to December.

The previous season was completed in December 2020.

Singles games were played in Grades A, B and C. Doubles were played in Grade A, Mixed Grade and C.

The Club Champion was awarded to Sanu (Sunny) Maliyil in Singles Grade A who defeated Phil Nicholson in the finals 21/17, 21/15, 21/23 (2:1).

The singles B grade title went to Hiral Patel who defeated Suzanne Woods 21/11, 21/19, 21/19 (3-0).

There was limited interest in the Children section of Badminton, but we need just a few more members in that category to start competitions.
