The combined event will be hosted by the Forbes Diggers Swim Club and is open to all swimmers.
Diggers Swim Club's David Stibbard said the event will begin at 3pm at the Forbes Olympic Pool and is a great family event.
This is the second year that the Pup Cup and Tom Drane Memorial Swim have been combined into one event.
The Tom Drane Memorial Swim has in previous years taken place on Australia Day.
All of the usual events will take place on Saturday including normal events will take place including the 30m swim, the 50m swim and the four x 50m relay.
The Diggers Club competition is based on swimming closest to your nominated time, with junior and seniors racing over 30m and 50m.
The Tom Drane Memorial Trophy will be presented to the person with the best aggregate score across the 30m and 50m races, while the Pup Cup will be awarded to the winning team in the four x 50m relay.
Mr Stibbard said that people can nominate to compete in several relay teams if they wish to.
As with last few years, the Digger's Club will be awarding the Pup Cup to the winning team in the senior category as well as awarding a prize to the winning team in the junior category.
The junior category is open to swimmers under the age of 16. Swimmers of all ages are welcome to come down and take part.
After the Pup Cup and the Tom Drane Memorial racing is all wrapped up, there will be a presentation at the Forbes Sport and Recreation Club.
