The Forbes Committee of the NSW Rural Women's Gathering are pleased to extend the application period for Expressions of Interest for Workshops and Sponsorship.
As you may know, the NSW Rural Women's Gathering will be held in Forbes between 22 - 24 October 2021. The Committee are pleased with the steady flow of workshop proposals that have been submitted to date, but are still after more! EOI will be accepted up to 14 May.
From the feedback received when we attended the last Gathering in Walcha in 2019 included interest in workshops on lifestyle, technology, creativity, leisure and relaxation, physical health, mental health.
Within these topics people flagged interest in the following topics: social media marketing; bucket lists; acrylic paint pouring; craft; gardening; yoga; contemporary art; dancing; first aid; singing/choir workshop; historical walks; self-development; town tour; cooking; massage; floral art; natural health and healing; quad bike training; bead making; cake decorating - new style; agriculture; hat making; scrapbook/cardmaking; drone basics; scent making; sculpture; hairstyling; acapella; and heaps more!
If you or someone you know would be interested in providing a workshop, grab an EOI form via our website (links on facebook and instagram) and send to rwg2021forbes@gmail.com
We are also still seeking sponsorship submissions as well. Our Platinum Sponsorship is reserved for the NSW Department of Primary Industries. We still have several Diamond ($5,000), Gold ($2,000) and Silver ($1,000) Sponsorship packages available, with some fantastic inclusions in these packages and opportunities for promotion and inclusion in the program.
Another option is to work with a workshop provider to sponsor a workshop. We aim to make the Gathering as available to rural women as possible and if you have the opportunity to work in this way, we would be keen to hear your proposal.
All submissions will be reviewed by the Committee and subsequently, providers will be advised of the outcome in due course.
We are also keen to hear from local groups who are interested in providing morning tea, lunch etc during the Gathering. Please use the EOI form to provide details of our group and what you could provide. Financial and 'in-kind' contributions are available.
The Gathering Committee wish to make a wide variety of learning opportunities available to attendees, with the goal of helping them to learn a new skill, be creative, be inspired, focus on
