Costa's visit is courtesy of Central West Lachlan Landcare, who have invited him to participate in the Schools' Eco Day on Friday May 28 and speak at the Landcare Dinner on Friday evening.
Costa is also well known to the kids as Costa the Garden Gnome in Get Grubby TV.
To enter into the spirit of all things quirky in the Garden, pre-school children are encouraged to come to Open Day dressed as garden gnomes and to take part in the Gnome Parade at 11am.
Each gnome will be presented with a token gift as a memento of the day.
This is not a Costa Lookalike competition - just come dressed as your favourite garden gnome: black beard, yellow beard, no beard at all - it is up to you.
To help raise funds for Landcare's Schools' Eco Day, the Community Garden is raffling two tickets, total value $200, to the Landcare Dinner on Friday May 28.
$5 Raffle tickets (prize - two dinner tickets) are available at the Community Garden between 9 and 11 each day, except Sundays, and at various retail outlets around town.
Forbes Riverside Community Garden is at 59-71 Reymond Street.
Please pre-register if you are coming to the Garden on Open Day.
This is a Covid requirement - no exception for gnomes!
