The Tread as One challenge was kicked off across Anytime Fitness from May 15 to May 22 and encourages participants to walk or run as many kilometres as possible to raise money for R U OK.
The challenge was kicked off locally on Thursday by Anytime Fitness Forbes staff; Dylan Johnson, Liam Shanahan and Debbie Bishop completing a 36 hour walk. Community members were able to join in the walk and contribute some kilometres on Saturday.
Dylan Johnson from Anytime Fitness Forbes said they set a target of 250km and raising $2000.
With help from members of the community they were able to smash their distance targets, walking a total of 345km. However they were unable to reach their fundraising goal, raising a total of $1407.
Mr Johnson said while they didn't hit their fundraising goal, they are very proud of how much they did raise for R U OK.
