Costa started a busy schedule in Forbes speaking to 350 Year 5 students from Parkes and Forbes shires on Friday, went on to the Landcare dinner on Friday night and then to the open day at Forbes Riverside Community Gardens on Saturday.
With lots of smiles and laughter, plenty of energy and very willing to pose for photos with his fans.
One of the highlights of Saturday's open gardens event was a gnome parade, with pre-school aged children asked to dress up as gnomes and Costa getting into character too.
The Forbes Riverside Community Gardens hosted their annual scarecrow competition which was judged by members of the community.
The winners were:
Best Scarecrow Open Category Maz Rees, Annalise Teale and Jenna Paxton. Runners up were Lockie and Lee Reynolds.
Best Scarecrow Junior Category Zoe, Gus and George Field. Runner up was Chelsea Ray.
Best Scarecrow Preschool Class Goodstat Early Learning. Runner Up was Forbes Preschool
Best Scarecrow Community Group Jemalong Residential Village. Runners up Forbes Garden Club.
