Police beat: thieves steal photo albums, stamp and coin collections

Break and enter: Photo albums, stamp and coin collection albums have been stolen from a Farrand Street home.

Police are appealing for anyone with information on the thefts, which occurred between Friday May 28 and Saturday June 5, to contact them.

Not only were the albums stolen from the scene, offenders have ransacked the place pulling linen out of the cupboards and destroying it on the property.

Brawl: One person will face court after what police describe as a brawl that took place in Cedar Crescent last Thursday evening.

Police were called to the area about 6.50pm to an altercation involving about seven people.

He was subsequently issued with an infringement notice for special category driver with special range prescribed concentration of alcohol, first offence.

Bike found: Have you lost a silver BMX bike? Police might have it! Forbes Police have a silver, Mongoose-brand bike that was found in York Street.

iPod lost: An iPod in a green Gecko case was lost at the Botanical Gardens last Thursday afternoon. Anyone who finds it is urged to hand it in at Forbes Police Station so they can return it to the owner.
