NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet announced NSW has hit the 70 per cent double vaccination target for people aged over 16 on Wednesday evening.
The Premier made the announcement on social media adding that 'some restrictions will ease on Monday, October 11'.
There are a few ways to show that you have received the jab, which may be needed in the future to gain entry into restaurants, bars and other venues.
So, how do you prove you've been vaccinated?
Medicare and MyGov
You will be able to prove your vaccination status is through a Medicare online account, or the Express Plus Medicare app on phones.
To get to the Medicare website and log in you need to go through your MyGov account, if you have these accounts linked.
Once you're logged in to MyGov, find the "My Services" section and click on Medicare.
From there click on "History and Statements", and then choose "Immunisation History" from the drop-down menu.
Once it is available, a COVID-19 digital certificate will also appear here, as long as you have had both doses.
If on the Express Plus Medicare app follow the same steps. Login, under "Services" click "Immunisation History".
That is where the COVID-19 Digital Certificate will be once it's issued. Your vaccination provider needs to add all your doses to the Australian Immunisation Register before you can see your certificate.
If you're having trouble with this, Central West Libraries, which includes Forbes, is offering to help. Bring in your device for technical assistance.
Cannot get it online?
For those unable to access the Medicare app or any of these systems online, there are other options are available.
Vaccination providers can print your immunisation history statement for you. Or, you can also call the Australian Immunisation Register and ask them to send your statement to you. This can take up to 14 days to arrive in the post.
Services Australia (there's an office at 57 Currajong Street in Parkes) can print off a copy of your vaccination status for you.
Services Australia General Manager, Hank Jongen, said the service is committed to ensuring everyone in Australia has access to proof of their COVID-19 vaccinations, wherever they may need it.
"We acknowledge not everyone can use, or has access to, online services and mobile devices, and we have a number of options in place to help those people," he said.
"We encourage people to access their statement online or by calling the Australian Immunisation Register before attending the service centre."
Keep in mind, with any of these options, you will need to have your printed off document handy most of the time.
If you don't wish to carry a certificate around and own a smartphone, you can access proof of COVID-19 vaccinations online through myGov.
People can also get a print-ready version of their COVID-19 digital certificate through myGov, the Express Plus Medicare app.

As with any official government document, Services Australia encourages people to keep their proof of vaccination secure, and to not share their personal information publicly.
What if I've had my vaccine but it's not listed?
The vaccinations can take a few days to appear, according to Services NSW. So, if your COVID-19 vaccinations aren't showing after 10 days, or can't be updated by the provider, call the Australian Immunisation Register.
