The longtime Eels supporter was really excited when the team sent him some merchandise and players recorded a birthday message for him.
Parramatta Eels players Bryce Cartwright, Ryan Matterson and Oegon Kaufusi recorded a message on behalf of the club wishing Paul a happy birthday and thanking him for his support.
Paul said he was surprised and excited to hear from the team on his birthday.
While he has been following the Eels for a long time Paul said he used to support the Sydney Roosters at one stage as this was his dad's favourite team.
However, Paul decided to throw his support behind Parramatta to help provide some friendly competition with his dad.
Paul was very excited that the Eels were in the finals this year and was cheering them with his house mate Simone on during their match against the Penrith Panthers.
While the Eels may have lost, that will not dampen Paul's love of the team.
Manager of Aussie Biscuits Brett Thompson said they like to celebrate little achievements and milestones of their employees.
They put up on their Facebook page a message congratulating Paul on turning 50 along with signs about supporting Parramatta
Mr Thompson said one of their biscuit fans saw the post and got in touch with the Eels who then reached out to Paul.
