Asked how much is being done to look after the mental health of staff across the Western NSW Local Health District, chief executive Scott McLachlan said support has been put in place to help understand if anyone is struggling.
"We've got some absolutely amazing staff who have over the last six or eight weeks have been just incredible, working long hours," Mr McLachlan said, thanking the staff .
"Our 8,000 staff across NSW have been absolutely incredible providing support to our community, our patients and particularly for stepping up to care for people with COVID in their homes and across our hospitals," Mr McLachlan said.
