Both Life Pharmacy and Flannery's Pharmacy have received doses of the Moderna vaccine last week and are now taking bookings.
Managing partner and pharmacist Sarah Hazell said along with the Moderna vaccine, both pharmacies are still offering the Astra Zeneca vaccine.
You are eligible for the Moderna vaccine if you are aged between 12 and 59.
Ms Hazell said that now is a good time for high school aged kids to book in to get their first dose before school is set to head back for term four. The recommended time between first and second doses is 28 days. It is already in use across much of the world.

Ms Hazell said they have received some inquiries from people over 60 about the Moderna vaccine, but they are following NSW guidelines and recommending people over 60 get the Astra Zeneca vaccine.
Ms Hazell said that current NSW health are recommending to shorten the time between the first dose of Astra Zeneca and the second dose to between 4-6 weeks.
If you have any queries about your vaccine schedule, Ms Hazell said pharmacy staff are happy to have discussions with you about it.
