The initiative is designed to get customers involved in the sponsorship process, and to give them ownership over who Bernardi's support as a business.
Forbes Little Athletics were joined in this round of funding by Boys To The Bush and Forbes Netball Association.
Boys to the Bush received $2500, Forbes Little Athletics received $1500 and Forbes Netball Association received $1000.
Forbes Little Athletics committee members said this grant will help them refurbish and upgrade some of their administrative equipment.
Committee members said that Forbes Little Athletics would like to thank Bernardi's and the community for their support and hope to see kids down at the fields when Little Athletics programs start up again soon.
"We're excited to see what our round 5 beneficiaries will be able to do with the donated funds from our Building Better Communities program," Bernardi's CEO Joseph Bernardi said.
"We had some great causes including Boys To The Bush, Forbes Little Athletics and Forbes Netball Association who are all fantastic advocates for our communities."
Every six months, the Bernardis' team chooses three worthy beneficiaries per store to share $5,000 of donations in the Building Better Communities programs.
"Our round 6 beneficiaries voting is opened until December 31st and again, we have some amazing local causes, including Havana House, Holistic Avenue and Aruma House (formerly known as Lachlan House With No Steps)," Mr Bernardi said.
"We encourage all community members to come in store, grab a token and vote for which organisation you'd like to see take the largest share in the $5000 donated funds."
