It's good news for those who want to get in a few laps of a morning or let the kids splash around when the sun does come out and steam things up.
But there are some COVID-safe measures in place as the pool, along with other local venues, is operating within the current NSW Government public health orders.
Forbes Olympic Pool Facebook page advises that swimmers over 16 years of age have to show their COVID-19 vaccination certificate to enter the pool under the order that came into effect on Monday October 11.
Children 12 and under must be accompanied by a fully-vaccinated adult. Those aged 13 to 16 are currently able to head to the pool without being accompanied by an adult or showing proof of vaccination.
The Forbes Olympic Pool advises that everyone must use the service NSW QR Code or sign in sheet and staff are required to check vaccination status in line with the NSW Government requirements prior to entry.
If you haven't already downloaded your COVID-19 vaccination certificate onto your smartphone or tablet, here's how to get started.
You can also get a printed copy from your vaccination provider, Services Australia (there's an office in Currajong Street, Parkes) or the Australian Immunisation Register by phoning 1800 653 809.
This transition phase is while the State is between 70 and 80 per cent full vaccination, we'll update when restrictions ease further.
The pool has also advised that learn to swim can and will commence in the first week of November.
Please give the pool a call directly or visit to ensure your child is on the list or to book in for a swimming assessment.
