You can even have your say in person, with the first community consultation session on Saturday, October 22.
Forbes Shire Council's team is heading to the skate park from 10am to midday, with some big maps for everyone to mark their ideas on.
The first plans to take shape are:
- Spooner Oval/Hughie Wilson
- Botanical Gardens
- Grinsted/South Circle
- Halpin Flat/Gaggin Oval
- Stephan Field
Whether you play cricket, rugby league, rugby union, soccer, netball or croquet, they'd love to hear from you.
It's all part of council's recently-adopted Recreation and Open Space Strategy, which identifies priorities for development.
In a social media post promoting the consultation session, Forbes Shire Council highlighted the importance of a "well-planned and strategic approach" to developing our sporting facilities to ensure they're sustainable in the long term.
"The Forbes Shire boasts an abundance of land for recreation and sport both for the current and the projected future population," the council wrote.
"Council wants to ensure that all users have adequate facilities to continue to grow their clubs and encourage young people to be involved in sports."
