While pre season training may have begun, you can still sign up to play cricket with the Forbes Junior Cricket Club.
Forbes Junior Cricket's Tony O'Connell said that as of October 20, they had about 80 avid players signed up across several age groups, but they are hopeful that more players will come on board.
The first pre-season trial games have a tentative start date of October 30 depending on COVID-related restrictions,Mr O'Connell said with the first main season game hopefully set to start on November 6.
The Forbes Junior Cricket Club are also planning to host Junior Blasters and Master Blasters sessions again on Saturday mornings this year.

Junior Blasters is for kids aged 5-7 who are new to cricket with participants building their skills through fun, game based activities.
Master Blasters allows kids aged between 7-10 to experience modified games of cricket in a format that is fast paced with equal participation.
