The Lachlan River at Forbes Iron Bridge is expected to exceed the moderate flood level (9.50 m) Sunday evening. The river level is likely to reach the major flood level (10.55 m) late Monday evening. Further rises to 10.65 metres on Tuesday morning are possible, with major flooding, similar to the September 2016 flood event.
The Lachlan River at Jemalong Weir Downstream is expected to exceed the minor flood level Sunday morning.
The Lachlan River at Jemalong Weir is likely to reach the major flood level (7.70 metres) during Wednesday.
Further rises are possible and a peak prediction will be made once upstream peaks are observed.

Saturday evening bulletin
Major flooding similar to the September 2016 flood is possible at Forbes from Monday night, the latest flood bulletin advises.
Major flooding is also expected at Nanami from early Sunday morning, where the river is rising with moderate flooding as of 6.30pm Saturday.
Cowra is already experiencing moderate flooding, and major flooding is expected at Cottons Weir and Jemalong from Sunday night.

Forecast river levels
The Lachlan River at Forbes Iron Bridge is expected to exceed the moderate flood level (9.50 m) Sunday evening. The river level is likely to reach the major flood level (10.55 m) late Monday evening.
Rises to 10.65 metres on Tuesday morning are possible, similar to the September 2016 flood.
The Lachlan River at Cottons Weir is likely to exceed the moderate flood level (5.30 m) Sunday evening.
The river level is likely to reach the major flood level (6.60 m) Monday afternoon and may reach around 7.20 metres during Tuesday, with major flooding.
The Lachlan River at Jemalong Weir Downstream is likely to reach the major flood level (7.70 metres) during Wednesday. Further rises are possible and a peak prediction will be made once upstream peaks are observed.
Be prepared
If you know you need sandbags, or if you can help fill them, please visit the SES Depot on the corner of Farnell Street and School Road.
You can also phone 132500 to request sandbags if you cannot pick them up.
The SES has advised they will doorknock impacted residents if evacuation is recommended, as required.
Residents need to consider the impact of possible isolation, as numerous local roads do close at these levels.
Farmers and landholders are advised to relocate livestock, pumps and machinery to higher ground.
