Members of Forbes Little Athletics Club have been able to race with brand new equipment when the club unveiled their new set of hurdles at their club night on Tuesday.
Forbes Little Athletics Club purchased the 42 hurdles with help from sponsorship by a variety of local businesses and families.
The club's Wendy Chudleigh said these new hurdles were a good replacement for the old ones which were a mix of different styles and models that the club had picked up over the years.
While almost all of the hurdles have been sponsored, Ms Chudleigh said they are still looking for sponsors for the last two hurdles.
Ms Chudleigh said they would like to thank O'Connors CASE IH, Moxey Farms, Hutcheon and Pearce, Lawson Grains, Rob Allen Livestock Transport, McMahon's Kitchens, Topsoil Organics, Bernardi's, Sportspower, Ridgey's Delights, the Ridge Family, Jackson Beaudin, Forbes Livestock & Agency Co and Steele Technology for sponsoring their hurdles.
Ms Chudleigh said they would also like to thank AgriWest for storing the hurdles for the club since August and Label Everything at Gooloogong for the great work on the stickers.
Forbes Little Athletics hosts regular club nights every Tuesday from 5:30pm during their season.
Their season runs to February, but the club will have a break over Christmas from the end of school term four this year, returning with the start of school in 2022.
Ms Chudleigh said people can still sign up to take part and you can use your Active Kids vouchers as well.
