The action began on Court One, where Benticks produced a good win over Ridges, 13 points to 8. Michelle beat Greg, Sam Rath lost to sub Marcus Hardy and sub Claire Bayley beat Max Ridge.
Court Two; in a reversal of first court results, Bayleys lost to Chudleighs 8 to 13, when Alex had a third set victory 15-13 against Kimberley and Jackson Beaudin lost 14, 14, 8, to Kasey Kinsey's 16, 16, 15, followed by Tyson McKinnon's loss to Brother Tristan.
Next door; Cogswells were lapped by Bergers 7 to 14 though Christine lost only one set in her defeat of Janelle while Will Markwort couldn't take a set from Hannah Nixon who is having a fantastic comp.
Shannon Rath lost to Claire Bayley 11-15, 10-13 and 13-15.
Current comp leaders Bergers and Chudleighs are neck and neck with 49 points then its Bayleys while Benticks and Cogswells tie on 40 points apiece but Ridges still trail.
Thursday evening's play produced a good mix of matches, though team point margins were not significant.
Star players; Pipes, Jono Cannon and Henry Kross are yet to lose a match.
On Court One; Pipers tied Hornerys 14 all, Darryn beat Sam 3-0, Haig Carlisle and Dennis Haynes both lost 1-3 to Jono Cannon and Cameron Toole respectively but sub Deb Bryant defeated Chris McConnell 15-9, 15-8 in their final two sets.
On Court Two; it was Millers 20 points to Bayleys 15.
Sub Brendon Stonham's court speed saw him defeat Dan 3-0, Chris McQuie lost a five set tussle to sub Cam Toole and 'Match of the Week' was Mark Webb's inspiring comeback from 10-15, 13-15 down to beat Shanna Nock 15-12, 15-12, 15-6. Sub Sam Mackay lost to Neil Toole 0-3 but earlier Chuds beat Deb Bryant 3-0.
Court Three; Krosses lost to Stonhams 19 to 23. Brendon Allegri in a big match with Jake Shaw, finished the fifth 15-13, Pete Cowhan had a 3-1 win over Pat Cormie, Jason Mallon did well in a tight three setter with Rich Plowes; 18-16, 15-11 and 18-16, then Weivan Haung ran as fast as he, and maybe anyone can but lost to Al Carlilse 1-3.
Krosses have pushed ahead with 78 total points, Bayleys follow on 74 with Pipers next, then its Hornerys, Stonos and Millers.
