There were carols and glo candles, singing kids and twinkling lights, but you'd be hard pressed not to pick Santa arriving with a baby reindeer as one of the most memorable moments of Eugowra's Carols on the Creek 2021.
Families flocked to the park on Saturday night to enjoy a bit of festive cheer, while headers worked on around the district, and more than one person was watching the weather radar.
The night, organised by Eugowra Events and Tourism, featured Forbes Town and District Band under the baton of Hannah Nixon and
The local schools - Eugowra Community Childrens Centre, St Joseph's and Eugowra Public School - took to the stage with some fun festive tunes.
Incredible local vocalist Cath Welsh capped the night with a couple of favourites, and the jolly man in red swung in to see the kids before the storm rolled in.
He brought along a little friend - Cuddles the foal - who was more than happy to don a pair of reindeer antlers in the spirit of the season.
Cuddles proved the perfect Santa's little helper, more than happy to greet the kids.
The night was hosted by Eugowra Events and Tourism with the support of local businesses including Cabonne Council, Central Hotel, The Fat Parcel, Eugowra Quality Meats, Eugowra Supermarket and Michael Miles Electrical.
Their generous support allowed organisers to run a free barbecue with soft drinks, and of course Santa had a little something for all the children too.
