Locally trained Midnight Flash, out of Raymond Smith's Irinka Kennels has retired from racing with a nice win at Temora on February 20.
The three and a half year old dog's last race was the Temora Cup Heats 27th Feb Non Graded 570m where she bounded out of the gates to take an early lead.
Midnight Flash maintained her lead to win the race, with a length by four lengths in front of the second placed Nifty Nangar and Bonnie's Chance.

Smith said it was good that she went out as a winner and they decided to call it a day for her.
She now goes to be paired with well known fan favourite Feral Franky.
In other news from Irinka Kennels, Miss Ezmae is back in rotation to be racing in three to four weeks.
Jungle Deuce is currently on a break after suffering a minor injury .
