A woman has died in hospital after her car hit a tree on the Lachlan Valley Way at Forbes on Wednesday night.
Emergency services were called to Lachlan Valley Way following reports of a crash about 9.40pm, a NSW Police statement issued to media said.
Officers attached to Central West Police District attended and found a Toyota SUV had left the roadway and crashed into a tree, trapping the driver.
