Another Forbes sale record was set at Tuesday's sheep sale with this pen of heavy Dorper cross lambs selling for $410 a head. Forbes Livestock and Agency Co congratulates vendors, the Rigney family of Tottenham. The lambs weighed 75kg plus with an average carcass weight of approximately 39kg. There was a slight lift in numbers and the quality was good with plenty of grain assisted trade cattle and several big drafts of large framed feeders.

Weaners were limited and there was only a few well finished grown steers and bullocks and the grown heifer run was lighter.
