Eugowra's pool is being relined and amenities upgraded as flood repairs in the community progress.
The upgrades, including hot showers, should be ready in time for the pool to reopen for Summer, locals heard at a community opening of the Eugowra Multipurpose and Evacuation Centre.
The event was a chance for Cabonne Council to provide updates on work funded by the community asset program under joint State and Federal central west flood recovery funding.
It was also a chance to survey locals on planned enhancements, including options for street trees, street furniture and the playground for the Memorial Park.
Relining of the pool, significantly damaged in the flood, is under way and upgrades to the amenities, kiosk and plant rooms are progressing well.
