Canowindra Pythons are gearing up for their 50th celebrations and this weekend’s home game is the time to get your tickets, if you haven’t already.
Our rugby union club hosts Guerie Goats at Tom Clyburn oval on Saturday, with kick off scheduled for 2pm.
The Pythons are back from the long weekend bye and looking to come back from their last home game challenge, which saw Wellington Redbacks eventual 7-50 winners.
Canowindra had been competitive in the first half, Toby Fisher said post-match, playing some good footy to contain the visitors 7-17.
But the Redback pack was just too big and too strong, and they ran away with the game piling points on in the second half.
